Daniel M. WasserPage 1 of The New York Times of April 19, 2012, featured our client, Ken Davenport, and the innovative financing model used to fund his Broadway revival of Godspell. Spearheading the development and implementation of this financing model was Daniel Wasser. Dan said: “Broadway productions are almost invariably financed by a modest number of wealthy individuals, but Ken wanted to democratize the process and create a community of small investors who would also serve as a marketing force for the production. It was a legally intensive and ultimately successful effort. We are currently looking at the JOBS Act of 2012 to see whether it provides viable new opportunities for theatrical and film financing.”
