Neil Rosini made a presentation on October 18 to the Copyright and Literary Property Committee of the New York City Bar Association entitled “Closing Next Week: the Section 304(d) Window for Serving Notices of Termination of Copyright Grants.” His talk focused on the imminent end of the time period for giving notice of grant terminations under Section 304(d) during the 75th through 80th years of copyright, as well as the purpose, structure, and interpretation of each of the three termination provisions in the U.S. Copyright Act.
