Entertainment Law Seminar 2016

Nick Gordon and Rose Schwartz complete their Entertainment Law Seminar 2016 at NYU Law School, where they are both adjunct professors of law; they are also members of the adjunct faculty of the Engelberg Center on Innovation Law and Policy at NYU Law School. Their law school course explores all facets of the entertainment industry, with a particular focus on book to film deals, and music agreements. The course culminates with an in-class negotiation by teams of students and the subsequent drafting of a deal memo summary and full contract. This is Rose’s 29th year of teaching the course, and Nick’s 13th.
